Rachel Gaynor Whiting 25th april 1988~28th march 1998. our beautifull daughter lived with her parents Mark and Gaynor and three sisters Chelsea, Danielle and Natalie in Sheffield Where she was born. She attended Prince Edwards School from the age of 4years until she was tragically taken aways from us. Rachel was nine years old when she was knocked off her cycle and killed on a pelican crossing near her home, she was returning from her best friend Simones house, we couldn't keep them apart. Rachel was a real star who was loved by everyone who met her, Her favourite things in life were UB40 music, And supporting manchester united, in that order. She also loved the Spice Girls and her favourite was baby spice *Emma Bunton* She was a proper dads girl and her mums little helper, She loved to take her little sisters out in their pram's up and down our small culdisac. (She was nine going on nineteen) i could always find her chatting to the older kids it used to make me laugh because they was a lot bigger than her.Rachel was quite clever for her age i can remember 1 teacher at school calling her the top corridor computer expert lol (they didn't have 1 in every class then)Rachel had some lovely teachers but i think she was Miss Fiona Rounds favourite and it was lovely to see most if not all of the teachers at her funeral .rachel your missed so much since you was taken away from us all and most of all you never got to meet you new baby sister who was born in 2004 we named her Ellie Rachel after you every time we look at her we see you . everyday we think of you Rach, love always Mum,Dad. Sisters Chelsea,Danielle,Natalie and Baby Ellie xxxxxxxxxx When you visit please leave your name and light a candle thanks alot xxxx
God sent me a child from heaven
To make me laugh and smile,
But she was only with me,
For such a little while.
She seemed so very happy,
So full of life and pride,
Now i'll never know the feelings,
She kept hidden deep inside.
For one day God came and took her,
And carried her away,
To be with Him in heaven,
Oh Lord i only pray.
That Rachel knew how proud i was,
How much i loved her so,
Now she's heaven's child.
Yet in my heart I know.
She's smiling down upon me,
And prays i understand,
She's reaching down with angel wings,
To gently hold my hands.
She whispers that she loved me,
As her halo glows so bright,
Now a new star up in heaven,
Will shine on me tonight!
